If you’re like me, you noticed a few weeks ago that when the St. Patrick’s Day green was put away, the first thing to hit the stores was Little Debbie spring-themed snacks on the end caps of the aisles and at the registers. You can almost tell the season just by watching the Little Debbie selection at the store, something that hasn’t changed since I was a child.

Right now on Little Debbie’s Facebook page, you can enter to win their Million Smile Mission for a chance to win the grand prize of a 16′ Airstream Sport Trailer or one of several other prizes, including Kodak Slice Cameras, Kodak ESP 7250 Printers, digital picture frames, Little Debbie Prize Packs and more!

Ten lucky Deal Seeking Mom winners will each receive a Little Debbie prize pack that includes:

  • 2 boxes of Cloud Cakes
  • 2 boxes of Spring Snacks

To enter, tell me one memory involving snack cakes from when you were a kid or as an adult if you didn’t have them as a child. Did your mom pack them in your lunch box? Were they a special treat reserved for road trips? Did you eat your first snack cake in college when you were on your own?

    43 years ago, when my mother was pregnant with me, she was at a grocery store with my dad. They came across a package of Little Debbie treats, and my mom stopped and said that it was the cutest thing she had ever seen and if her baby was a girl she would name her Debbie. And here I am! Debbie Greco

    My favorite is the Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls….and my 6 year old daughter knows that! One morning, my husband gave her breakfast, I came into the kitchen and asked what she had had….she looks at me and kinda covered her mouth and giggled….”Daddy let me have one of YOURS!” Not that I don’t share with her…..just sparingly!! ;)

    My fondest and my families fondest Little Debbie memory is from the early 70’s. I have always loved Little Debbie Oatmeal creams. I was about 5 or 6 yrs old and I had just opened an Oatmeal cream when it fell on the floor. Of course, I didn’t want to waste that deliciousness, so I decided to rinse it off…needless to say it fell apart and I was devastated. My dad gave me another and I family story that is still being told was born. I am now 45 and every time I go to my parents they offer me an Oatmeal cream and remind me not to rinse it.

    My name is Debbie so about once a month my Dad would come home from work with a box of Little Debbie treats for me! One of my fondest memories of my Dad was the smile on HIS face when he handed me that box. I still love them now!

    experience is eating the Little Debbie
    Peanut Butter Crunch Bars with a ritual of pulling them apart layer by layer and eating them as individual layers or licking the peanut butter of each one I split apart.My latest has been picking the candy pieces off the Cosmic Brownies before I eat them!
