Win-It Wednesday: Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and New K-Cups!

November 10, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 2,351 Comments

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting a 24-hour giveaway to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’ve shared my thoughts on Keurig Single-Cup Brewers in the past, and I still love my Keurig just as much today.

I’m always up for trying new K-cup flavors, so I was happy to test drive the new Millstone and Folgers varieties.

Millstone coffee and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are made from the same high quality beans already available on-shelf in over 50 blends, and offer the exceptional taste that both brand’s passionate coffee drinkers have come to expect. The superior taste is the result of both brand’s precise “bean to cup” process that involves an intricate method of growing, roasting, and blending to ensure each cup of coffee delivers a unique coffee drinking experience.

I really enjoyed them, with the Folgers Black Silk K-cups being the one I liked the best. I like my coffee strong and bold, so this one was the closest to what I would typically buy. The Millstone Hazelnut K-cups were fun for a change of pace. They’re perfect for an after-dinner treat in lieu of a decadent dessert!

Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are available in the following flavors:

  • Millstone Breakfast Blend (Fair Trade Certified)
  • Millstone Hazelnut Cream
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Black Silk
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian Decaf
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Vanilla Biscotti

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and four samples of the new Millstone and Folgers K-Cup varieties!

I try to do as much as I can the night before so I do not have to get up as early. Things like packing lunches, picking out snacks and clothes are a big help. Without the cup of coffee a day I would be drooping by 10AM for sure. I use my coffee as a definite pick me up.

I get up before everyone else and take my shower. Then I have some time to myself while the kids are showering themselves. A nice cup of coffee and the newspaper before they are ready for breakfast and I have to finish getting myself ready.

I have to have my coffee in the morning! I get it all ready in the pot the night before and then just flip the switch when I get up.

I get up 1 hour earlier than I need to. This way I’m ready for work in 30 minutes then I can get my grandson up for school as his dad is deployed. While he watches tv then I can enjoy my coffee to keep me going for the day.

I try to get as much done the night before. Get the kids school clothes out, make sure everything has a place like shoes, coats, backpacks. Coffee is a treat once the hectic morning is over. A calm after the storm!

I try to do as much prep as I can the night before. Such as laying out outfits for the kids, getting out bowls and spoons for cereal, etc.

My husband mentioned he wanted a Keurig from Santa so I’d be wonderful to win this!!

A hectic morning starts the night before by getting everything I need: clothes, purse, etc. in one location and having the coffee set on automatic.

Help with Hectic Mornings starts the night before. I do as much as I can to prepare for the next day. Coffee is ready to go with programmable start coffee maker. Lunches are packed, clothes and shoes selected, and backpacks are placed by the front door. I place everything that needs to leave with us in the morning on a bench by the front door. We all walk the dogs together in the morning. This gives us a little time to connect, relax together, and the exercise gives us a little pep in our step. Preparing everything the night before makes it easy to glide through the morning without having to think about what you need for the day, and you don’t waste precious morning time looking for anything.

We have a morning routine that stays pretty much the same every day. I have coffee during naptime, since that’s my mommy time to relax.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...
