Win-It Wednesday: Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and New K-Cups!

November 10, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 2,351 Comments

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting a 24-hour giveaway to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’ve shared my thoughts on Keurig Single-Cup Brewers in the past, and I still love my Keurig just as much today.

I’m always up for trying new K-cup flavors, so I was happy to test drive the new Millstone and Folgers varieties.

Millstone coffee and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are made from the same high quality beans already available on-shelf in over 50 blends, and offer the exceptional taste that both brand’s passionate coffee drinkers have come to expect. The superior taste is the result of both brand’s precise “bean to cup” process that involves an intricate method of growing, roasting, and blending to ensure each cup of coffee delivers a unique coffee drinking experience.

I really enjoyed them, with the Folgers Black Silk K-cups being the one I liked the best. I like my coffee strong and bold, so this one was the closest to what I would typically buy. The Millstone Hazelnut K-cups were fun for a change of pace. They’re perfect for an after-dinner treat in lieu of a decadent dessert!

Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are available in the following flavors:

  • Millstone Breakfast Blend (Fair Trade Certified)
  • Millstone Hazelnut Cream
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Black Silk
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian Decaf
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Vanilla Biscotti

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and four samples of the new Millstone and Folgers K-Cup varieties!

FB Fan; email feed! You are the best!

I try to do as much as possible the night before – lay out clothes, have easy-to-grab breakfast bars, fresh fruit, coffee ready to brew! I love hazelnut with 1/2 and 1/2, a little sweetener, a tad of whipped cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon! Yum! Would LOVE to win a Keurig! It would make life so much simpler!! Thanks!

No matter how i try to prepare the night before, the morning is always hectic with a one year old! She always has a different plan than mommy but she makes it worth it. I def. need my tea mixed with a little coffee to give me that kick

I manage my mornings by getting as much ready the night before as I can. This includes lunches packed and clothes out and ironed. Freshly ground coffee with free creamer(courtesy of coffeemate coupons) help me to get alert and ready to tackle the day ahead!

To manage a hectic morning we get as much ready the night before as possible but a nice hot cup of coffee doesn’t hurt either to give me a pick me up

While I’m fixing breakfast I prepare lunch for work, so I don’t have to waste money buying lunch. A good cup of coffee helps me enjoy the morning, and gives me something to look forward to when the alarm goes off.

I make it a point to set out clothing the night before as well as placing backpacks and jackets by the front door so we can just grab them as we run out in the morning.

I set up my coffeemaker before I go to bed at night- if I’m really with it I set it up for the next day before I leave for work. It starts brewing just before I get back from my morning walk. I HAVE to have a cup before I can even get in the shower! I also make lunches the night before so they are ready to go!

I try to have everything organized the night before for my boys and myself. Even with the coffee maker set it still seems like something goes chaotic every morning, even the weekends!

One thing that helps in the morning is that at the beginning of each week I pre-measure my coffee, put it in filters and keep in a ziploc container. This saves time each morning especially when I am half asleep. It is hard to keep track of how many spoonfuls of coffee I have used.
