Win-It Wednesday: Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and New K-Cups!

November 10, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 2,351 Comments

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting a 24-hour giveaway to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’ve shared my thoughts on Keurig Single-Cup Brewers in the past, and I still love my Keurig just as much today.

I’m always up for trying new K-cup flavors, so I was happy to test drive the new Millstone and Folgers varieties.

Millstone coffee and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are made from the same high quality beans already available on-shelf in over 50 blends, and offer the exceptional taste that both brand’s passionate coffee drinkers have come to expect. The superior taste is the result of both brand’s precise “bean to cup” process that involves an intricate method of growing, roasting, and blending to ensure each cup of coffee delivers a unique coffee drinking experience.

I really enjoyed them, with the Folgers Black Silk K-cups being the one I liked the best. I like my coffee strong and bold, so this one was the closest to what I would typically buy. The Millstone Hazelnut K-cups were fun for a change of pace. They’re perfect for an after-dinner treat in lieu of a decadent dessert!

Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are available in the following flavors:

  • Millstone Breakfast Blend (Fair Trade Certified)
  • Millstone Hazelnut Cream
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Black Silk
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian Decaf
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Vanilla Biscotti

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and four samples of the new Millstone and Folgers K-Cup varieties!

I have a toddler and we dress him in his clothes that wears to daycare the night before. Saves lots of tears and drama. He hates to have his clothes changed.

I love all the different kids of coffee to keep me awake in the morning. Yummy!!

I always, always premake my coffee the night before so I just have to RUN into the kitchen and punch the button. It gets me going fast.

I love my Keurig! The fact that I can use my coffee with the mini filter is a life saver when I am the only person drinking coffee in the house!

I try to do as much the night before as I can. A fresh cup of coffee in the morning warms me up on a cold day and helps me to keep that fast pace necessary to get everyone out the door.

Mornings are hectic at my house with feeding 2 cats and 2 dogs, getting my daughter up for school and getting ready myself. I try to have my clothes and everything I will be taking with me for the day ready the evening before. The smell of fresh brewed coffee is always an instant wake up.

Try to do whatever you can the night before so you are not scrambling the next morning. Your mind will live you for it! A cup of coffee starts my mornings just right. It’s a good way to get me going, whether I’m home all day or out and about.

My tip: the night before have everything out and ready for the morning including coffee made and ready to brew. Can’t do with out my coffee to get my day started off right.

My trick for managing a hectic morning is to have the coffee ready BEFORE my little monster awakes! If she’s up already, I’ll never get around to even making the coffee!
