Win-It Wednesday: FREE Popsicle Brand Product (25 Winners!)

January 20, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting several 24-hour giveaways throughout the day to give you plenty of chances to win!

Popsicle Fudgsicle Low-Fat Triple Chocolate Dessert

Popsicle recently surveyed moms on their snacking and dessert habits, and their results show that nearly 80% of moms admit to breaking into their children’s arsenal of snacks and desserts. I’ll admit I’m guilty of this as well.

So when Popsicle offered to send my family some of their new low-fat treats to sample, we were more than willing to test them out. We received the Low Fat Fudgesicle Triple Chocolate bars and Sugar Free Popsicle Tropicals ice pops, as well as the new Klondike 100 Calorie Vanilla & Chocolate sandwiches.

I was a little worried that the kids would notice a difference with the lower fat version, but they didn’t notice at all. Of course then I had to give them a taste for myself, and I’ll admit, I found them just as satisfying as the regular versions. The Klondike bars did seem less creamy, more like ice milk than ice cream, but it wasn’t a turnoff, and the tradeoff of calories and fat seems worthwhile.

Overall, I think these would be a great solution to the dilemma in finding find desserts and snacks the kids enjoy and that are not bad for them, that moms and dads will enjoy as well!

Popsicle wants to give 25 Deal Seeking Mom readers the opportunity to try out their low-fat products as well! To enter to win 1 of 25 FREE Popsicle Brand product coupons (up to $4), tell me your favorite low-fat or healthy dessert!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
