Fashion Playtes is a cool new site that lets girls aged 6-12 years design their own clothes. Can you imagine the feeling at that age of wearing something you designed yourself? The easy-to-use online platform allows kids to add accessories like ribbons, graphics and ruffles to their clothing items. There is even an option to make a personalized label that will let everyone know who designed it!

    My daughter is constantly drawing out clothes for herself and well as for the rest of the family for big occasions. She would adore this!

    As a teen, I was fortunate enough to have a very talented grandmother – she could sew anything I imagined! I designed and chose fabric for many of my dresses for dances (homecoming, prom, etc.) and it was so much fun! Plus, I NEVER had to worry about another girl wearing the same dress as me!

    I have never wanted to design my own clothes (I am not very artistic), but my 10 year old daughter has always stitched together clothes for her dolls and drawn outfits. She would love this!

    My daughter’s 8th birthday is less than a month away and she would LOVE this! I’m not sure who would enjoy this more- her or me! I always wanted to be a fashion designer when I was little!

    I guess I’ve never really dreamed of designing my own clothes. Probably the closest I’ve ever gotten is playing with paper dolls as a kid, trying out different wardrobe variations on them!! I did used to sew some of my own clothes and enjoyed that process–choosing a pattern and fabric and then creating something out of that.

    I used to dream about designing my own clothes but the closest I ever got was using the fashion plates game (where you pick the outfits and use “rubbings” to create it). My daughter would love this.
