Ecozoo Bags from EcogearEcozoo Bags by Ecogear
I just think these Ecozoo Bags are so adorable! They’re soft, just the right size for my little man, and made from organic cotton. When we opened the box, my two year old immediately stuffed his blue elephant full of his favorite toys and trusty blanket and proclaimed that he was “goin’ school” like his older brothers.

More About Ecogear
The inspiration for the Ecogear line of eco-friendly bags came from the founder’s desire to help ensure that his children would have a clean and healthy planet to enjoy when they grew up. All of their bags are made with planet-friendly organic cotton, PVC-free materials, recycled plastics and toxic-free dyes and components so you can feel good about your purchase.

My husband is a “Go Green” freak! He checks our garbage cans all the time to make sure nothing is thrown anway that could be recycled. And we always bring reusable bags everytime we go somewhere.

Honestly, we’re not doing anything differently–just the same old things: recycling paper, plastics, and glass, reusing whatever we can, using reusuable bags at almost every store.

We installed auto-shut off lights in our kids bathroom since they forget to turn them off all the time. Everyone is also responsible for their own recycling bin in the house. It’s a competition to see who can recycle more.

We use reusable bags everytime we go to the store. We also have a huge trash can that we fill with everything possible that we can recycle each week. Our recycle trash is now always fuller than our regular trash!

  25. Paula

    February 4, 2010 at 9:26 am

We’ve been using plastic bags that we get occasionally at the store as trash bags in our smaller trash cans.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
