Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

This is no ordinary fan — obviously. In fact, did you even realize that it IS a fan?
This is the new Dyson Air Multiplier Table Fan, and while you’ll definitely have to pay a good amount for this revolutionary technology, there are some very valid reasons why you should give it some consideration when making your next fan purchase:
- Notice there are NO blades — The Dyson Air Multiplier technology does not require blades to generate a steady stream of air. We don’t use traditional fans around our children because of the dangerous, fast-spinning blades. When I was younger, I leaned back over one of those old fans with the metal blades. It immediately sucked my long hair up in it, pulling out a good section of it, so while I learned the hard way, we’ve chosen not to expose our children to them at all.
- It’s super easy to clean — After a few days of use, traditional fan blades and the fan casing become caked with dust, fibers, and pollen. Getting them clean is a major ordeal, but with the Air Multiplier, you can just easily wipe it clean with a damp cloth. This is especially important for households with allergy sufferers.
- It uses a dimmer switch — Traditional fans usually only have 3-4 speed settings, but the Dyson Air Multiplier allows you to set your own perfect amount of air flow by turning a dial.
- You can easily tilt it with the touch-tilt feature — Box fans don’t tilt at all, and directional fans can become loose over time, making adjusting them difficult. The Dyson Air Multiplier has a touch-tilt feature that makes directing the air flow simple and easy.
I know some of you that use a fan at night to help you sleep are probably wondering if it’s silent. Well, it’s definitely quieter than a traditional fan, but it still provides a good amount of white noise that will help put you drift off to sleep.
We’ve been thoroughly happy with our Dyson Air Multiplier Fan. Besides being very futuristic-looking and a great conversation starter, it does a great job cooling off a room in a safe manner that’s very important to this mom of five.

I would put this in my sons room on his nightstand or desk. His room is right above the garage & it doesn’t matter how much we try to insulate or seal it, it never feels very cool (even cool-ish would be acceptable). I’ve been looking for a new fan & this giveaway would be perfect – I like the “super easy to clean” because he’s a teenager.

Our bedroom is over the garage and never cools as fast as other rooms in the house. I would put it on my dresser by my bed!

We have central a/c (which is rare in Seattle) but my daughter’s room doesn’t get as cool as the rest of the house. I won’t leave the windows open for safety reasons, so I’d put this in her room knowing it would be safe!

We don’t have air conditioning so I would DEFINITELY put it in the family room where my kids and I spend most of our time!

We have air conditioners scattered through out the house, but our living room is sorta tucked in a corner and doesn’t get much of the air. It’s the one room we say still feels warm, even with the air on. I’d be putting this baby at the door to suck some of the cooler air into the living room!
Karen
We only have one air conditioner cooling the whole first floor of our cape cod. I would use the Dyson fan in the living room in the evening when we might be reading or watching a show, and then I would take it with me to my bedroom to help keep it cool. Thanks!

I get DSM emails. Thanks for this great site!

My husband needs this for his night stand. Now he wants to run the ceiling fan, but I don’t want any air blowing on me. This could SAVE our relationship and stop the bickering simply by him getting his own fan!

I would love to win this for my mother-in-law who is going through Menopause and freezes everyone around her trying to keep herself comfortable. The fan would most likely be put next to her chair in their den she has worn 2 out that she had there previously. I dread going through menopause when I get older. I hope I win!

My daughter’s room. We looked at one the other day…awesome fan!!

First of all I would love to have this fan, I have been drooling watching the commercials for this!!! I would put this in the bedroom for sure! With this heat wave in Ohio we could most definitely put it to good use!
Jes
I would place it by my bed to keep cool at night.

This fan would be great for our bedroom. My husband always gets so hot when he sleeps.

I would put it in my son’s room! It gets so hot in there!

I’d leave this in my kitchen. Our window air conditioners just don’t keep it cool if I’m cooking and with my allergies the easier to clean the more I like it.
Shelley
I think I would keep it on my nightstand, both for the cooling effects and the white noise!

We could definitely use this fan upstairs in our office as it can get a little stuffy in there at times.

I would take it with me from room to room and use it RIGHT next to my menopausal body:)
