Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

This is no ordinary fan — obviously. In fact, did you even realize that it IS a fan?
This is the new Dyson Air Multiplier Table Fan, and while you’ll definitely have to pay a good amount for this revolutionary technology, there are some very valid reasons why you should give it some consideration when making your next fan purchase:
- Notice there are NO blades — The Dyson Air Multiplier technology does not require blades to generate a steady stream of air. We don’t use traditional fans around our children because of the dangerous, fast-spinning blades. When I was younger, I leaned back over one of those old fans with the metal blades. It immediately sucked my long hair up in it, pulling out a good section of it, so while I learned the hard way, we’ve chosen not to expose our children to them at all.
- It’s super easy to clean — After a few days of use, traditional fan blades and the fan casing become caked with dust, fibers, and pollen. Getting them clean is a major ordeal, but with the Air Multiplier, you can just easily wipe it clean with a damp cloth. This is especially important for households with allergy sufferers.
- It uses a dimmer switch — Traditional fans usually only have 3-4 speed settings, but the Dyson Air Multiplier allows you to set your own perfect amount of air flow by turning a dial.
- You can easily tilt it with the touch-tilt feature — Box fans don’t tilt at all, and directional fans can become loose over time, making adjusting them difficult. The Dyson Air Multiplier has a touch-tilt feature that makes directing the air flow simple and easy.
I know some of you that use a fan at night to help you sleep are probably wondering if it’s silent. Well, it’s definitely quieter than a traditional fan, but it still provides a good amount of white noise that will help put you drift off to sleep.
We’ve been thoroughly happy with our Dyson Air Multiplier Fan. Besides being very futuristic-looking and a great conversation starter, it does a great job cooling off a room in a safe manner that’s very important to this mom of five.

it would be great in our bedroom, the only room in our house that seems to always be warm…
Ruth
I would put it in my bedroom-the sun beats down in there while the rest of the house stays cool
Leslie
I would keep it in my bedroom! I don’t get any air in there!!!
Amy
I think I’d use the fan in my bathroom when getting ready…ya know, when I’m blowing my hair dry and using the flat iron! It’s pretty hot in AZ — even if the air is on. :)
anne
this would go on my nightstand in my bedroom
Amy
I also subscribed to your email feeds a few months back…and LOVE seeing what’s in there anytime I have a new email from you!
Jennifer
I would put this in my son’s room because the one he has is too loud
Sara Dauwe
Oh I love this fan!! Since my husband complains EVERY night about how warm it is in our bedroom and how much I love to be snuggled in. This would be a perfect compromise. The fan we utilize on low is incredibly loud, making falling a sleep a battle between me and my husband. The dyson would solve our night time routine.

I would LOVE to have this fan. We currently have THREE (not counting the ceiling fan, lol) fans in our bedroom to keep it cool at night. This might be able to take the place of one of those.
Berdie
I would love, I would but it in the family room….
Melanie
This looks awesome and so useful around young kids
Nancy
I was actually just saying this morning that we need a fan for the bathroom. We don’t have air conditioning in there and it gets so warm in the morning when I’m getting ready.
Mary
I may use it in my kitchen-it gets so hot in there!
Linda Thompson
This fan would be great in our small bathroom, right on the counter-top. Love your blog!

I would put it in my sons room. He has a ceiling fan but–poor thing–always has little beads of sweat on his little nose….!!!! Just not enough for him!!!

Our office needs one bad’

In our family room. Our AC is currently broken and we have to wait for the part to come in before it will be fixed.

I would love to win this. I have seen it on t.v. and think it would be great in my daughter’s room to keep her cool at night!

I would use it in my teenage daughter’s room. She has a cat and I worry about the cat and her traditional fan’s blades.

We have a lovely back porch, that we are almost finished renovating. I would love to hang out in there all the time, but it becomes really warm in the afternoon because of all the windows. I would definitely find a place for the Dyson fan right next to a favourite chair on my porch.
Nicole
My kitchen is in desperate need of a fan, but I haven’t felt comfortable having one with a toddler in the house. I hope I win!
Tena
I would absolutely put this in my son’s room. No blades= toddler proof fan. He currently doesn’t have a fan in his room because he’s recently decided that he likes to poke at them. I really want to get one of these fans but it is so not in the budget at the moment. Awesome giveaway!
debbie
I would put the dyson air multiplier in the family room so everyone could enjoy the air movement.
