20th Century Fox brings us DIARY OF A WIMPY KID: DOG DAYS opening in theaters this Friday, 8/3.  This film is rated PG. Get ready to go see the movie by creating your own Wimpy Kid character from the movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid at Wimp Yourself!

During his summer vacation, “Wimpy Kid” Greg Heffley, the hero of the phenomenally successful book series, hatches a plan to pretend he has a job at a ritzy country club – which fails to keep him away from the season’s dog days, including embarrassing mishaps at a public pool and a camping trip that goes horribly wrong.

    I love all of the books and movies! My favorite part is in Roderick Rules when the mom starts dancing at the talent show oblivious to anyone seeing her.

    We love the DOWK movies, and my kids devour the books. I must say that my favorite part is when Greg sits on a candy bar before church, and has to go in with a brown stain on his behind. Who hasn’t had an embarrassing moment?

    I think Roderick Rules is mine and my kid’s fav. My son’s favorite scene is when Freggley shows his secret freckle.

    I have never seen it but I have foster children whom I am sure would enjoy seeing it.
