20th Century Fox brings us DIARY OF A WIMPY KID: DOG DAYS opening in theaters this Friday, 8/3.  This film is rated PG. Get ready to go see the movie by creating your own Wimpy Kid character from the movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid at Wimp Yourself!

During his summer vacation, “Wimpy Kid” Greg Heffley, the hero of the phenomenally successful book series, hatches a plan to pretend he has a job at a ritzy country club – which fails to keep him away from the season’s dog days, including embarrassing mishaps at a public pool and a camping trip that goes horribly wrong.

    My 9 year old LOVES all of the Wimpy books – we have them all & he’s read them many times over!! The books are what’s gotten him interested in reading, so I’m very grateful to Jeff Kinney!!

    Have 2 grandsons and both of them look forward to new books from this series. Still remember how excited my younger grandson was when I bought him the first 3 books as a Christmas present a few years ago. His eyes lit up and he started jumping up and down yelling “Wimpy Kid books”.
