AfterSoles and CitySlipsCitySlips and AfterSoles
Like many women, I love wearing high heels, but inevitably after a few hours of dancing, I’m ready to take them off because my feet start hurting. CitySlips and AfterSoles are the perfect solution. They fold up compactly enough to fit in the smallest of purses, so you can just whip them out and slip them on — instant comfy footwear anywhere!

More About CitySlips and AfterSoles
Susie Levitt and Katie Shea developed the concept for CitySlips while living in New York City and attending NYU. With drive and determination, the pair consulted friends, professors and established professionals to make their vision a reality during their senior year of college.

I go for comfort for my ‘everyday’ shoes and will suffer for style on special occasions.

When looking for shoes I used to go for style, but now I’d rather be comfortable than anything else:)

Comfort, comfort, comfort. Crocs and Birks – always flats, never heels. I like having a small spare pair of shoes, thanks for the contest.

The key to shoes is a balance between comfort and fashion. If a pair is truly hideous but luxurious to walk in, I won’t bother. If a pair is the most gorrrrgeous thing ever but I can’t even feel my toes in them . . . I might still get them. haha. Just kidding. That’s be a waste of money.

I buy for comfort and have about 20 pairs of not-so-comfy shoes.

I prefer comfort, but if they are not stylish enough, my dear husband suggests another pair. I have some pairs of comfy shoes that I only wear when he is not home. :) I’m not a shoe “queen”, but I Do have a nice assortment of “basics”.

I am a total comfort gal, however I can’t pass up the occassion cute shoe that isn’t as “functional”. Purple snake skin peep toes heels, anyone???

I am definitely all about comfort! I am counting down the days until I can slip on my flip-flops again.

i lost count on the number of pair of shoes i use but i loooovvveee my heels. I look for both style and comfort but i def look for style over comfort – like the saying goes beauty is pain!

I hate to say it but style usually wins out over comfort… unless I’m wearing uggs to run around in the cold weather lately.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
