I’ve never been a fan of scented trash bags. The scent is always so floral and overpowering, and I always feel like it rubs off on me when I’m changing a bag.

So I was very interested to learn about Hefty’s new Unscented Odor Block Technology. These trash bags help neutralize garbage odors with no added scent. I was a little skeptical as to whether it would actually reduce garbage odor, but it really does work. Even though we frequently change bags, in the past I’ve noticed that after a few trash bag changes, my trash can would start to smell less than ideal, so I’d either have to get out the Lysol or take it outside and rinse it with Clorox.

    I look for bags that can within stand my children shoving tons and tons more then they should hold and not break.

    What I look for in a garbage bag? Low price first then features like stretchy/non tearing bag, then drawstring, then odor blocking. Hefty usually wins!

    I like the trashbag to have the handles. I also like the flex material, but that’s not as important as the handles.

    I actually don’t even buy garbage bags. I use plastic grocerty bags for a small can under the sink and just take it out a little more frequently.

    The drawstrings are very important to me. The last thing I want is to yank the trashbag out of the can and the drawstrings give out or them to not hold firmly around the trashcan and ”sag”!!
