I’ve never been a fan of scented trash bags. The scent is always so floral and overpowering, and I always feel like it rubs off on me when I’m changing a bag.

So I was very interested to learn about Hefty’s new Unscented Odor Block Technology. These trash bags help neutralize garbage odors with no added scent. I was a little skeptical as to whether it would actually reduce garbage odor, but it really does work. Even though we frequently change bags, in the past I’ve noticed that after a few trash bag changes, my trash can would start to smell less than ideal, so I’d either have to get out the Lysol or take it outside and rinse it with Clorox.

    I like them with drawstrings and to be as heavy-duty/resistant possible. If the unscented odor-block really works that bag will be a MUST in my kitchen!

    It would be really nice to find a trash bag that has both the extra strength stretch so I can fill the bag full and the odor block – and the nice drawstring too. I have yet to actually see these kinds of bags in the stores in my area.

    I like garbage bags that neutralize garbage odors and that can handle different types of materials without puncturing the bag – which can cause a very big mess! Love Hefty garbage bags!

    it has to have the drawstring closure and be strong enough to not RIP when I try to remove it from the trashcan.
