Kids, ice cream, and summertime — they all just seem to go together, don’t they? One of our favorite places to go for ice cream treats is our local SONIC Drive-In. Sure we can get our ice cream fix elsewhere, but few establishments offer the ambiance of SONIC.

My kids adore the ’50s-style drive-in layout and watching the employees rollerskate around, taking orders and delivering meals with ease. As you can see from the photos above, the ice cream offerings aren’t too shabby either! There’s a real ice cream treat to fit everyone’s tastes.

    My absolute favorite ice cream treat is Brusters Butter Pecan Ice cream. Rich, creamy, buttery ice cream with salted pecans. Need I say more!

    Making me pick one favorite treat isn’t fair….I have the biggest sweet-tooth, lol. I guess I’ll just say I love getting a sonic Chocolate Shake and having them add Banana’s to it. YUM!

    My favorite ice cream treat is the new limited edition smores edy’s ice cream (i think) on a sugar cone, yum!
