I don’t get a chance to keep a change collection… I’ve got two pre-teens that always seem to empty out my change dish!

I have coins in a few different containers including an elephant bank and a change purse I bought it Thailand. I don’t use cash very much so I don’t get a lot of change.

We keep a giving jar for change. It seems like we always hear about a person or family in need around the holidays. If not we take it to coinstar and cash it in for our donation shopping!

One of the most useful items we have is a coin sorter- it counts the coins for us, and we end up with a couple hundred dollars a year that would have just evaporated otherwise!

We use a soda bottle as our coin jar. It hasn’t been counted in 6-7 years (possibly longer)! My hubby & I were thinking of creating a bank acct for our daughter with it.

We do keep a coin jar. We count it about once a year, around Thanksgiving, and and we usually use a Coinstar machine to get an Amazon giftcard.
