We keep a jug and cash it in every year for vacation. It doesn’t fill up as quickly though now that we have a 2 1/2 year old who loves to feed his piggy bank, lol.
Robin
I use to have a money jar years ago.
I don’t use cash very often anymore. So I don’t have much change these day. I guess I could save it up for a year.

I don’t have a “jar” but I collect some change, put in coin purse and put it in religious places we go to.

I have an old piggy bank that used to sit in my grandparents’ living room. It is HUGE so I don’t know if it has ever been full! I don’t count it anymore, I’m trying to forget about how much is in there until it’s super heavy & I can splurge on something really good :-)

I used to keep a coin jar and went through it about once a year- now all our change goes into our daughters piggy bank- we have yet to cash that in for her yet!
Jennifer Markowski
We keep several coin jars around the house, and usually don’t count them until they get full.

We have coin jars in multiple rooms. They are great for the comforting feeling that you are never truly BROKE as long as there’s a coin jar around.

We do keep coin jars, using plastic coffee jugs. We haven’t cashed them in in a few years, but will this summer for a trip to Orlando :)
