I generally just pile it up for a while on the counter then throw it in my change purse. I use it at my local fast food restaurants mainly.
When my mom passed away, I took all of her change and put it in some piggy banks for the younger great grandchildrenand the new great-great grandson.

I have several coin catchers in the house – bedroom, living room, kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom. Always know where to go when broke or need a carwash.

We have a big coin Tupperwear bowl that we throw coins into when we have them. We use the coins for bake sale day at school, pennies for diving after in the pool, coins for treats while at the pool, to open some toys to change the batteries, and we just found out our youngest has been raiding the bowl to subsidize his piggy bank!! We have never counted the money in this bowl.
