We have a coin jar – we count it every quarter and I sleeve them and take the money to the bank to deposit! The kids have their own pigy bank but we haven’t done anything with it yet

we have a gallon jug we put our pocket change in. We can never get it to fill up because i usually take what i need when i hit the drugstore. But we do have alot of pennies. Also since my first grader is learning to count money sometimes i pull out some coins and create different combinations for him to count.

We have a coin jar. We usually save up until we are ready for a trip planned, and then cash it in.

I keep a coin jar for the change from my pockets and use it later for playing card games with family. We make nickel bets, but it feels like such an accomplishment to be $2 richer at the end of the day!
Marissa
We have coin jugs but they are for the boys to take into church once a month for missions.

We have a 2ft high coca cola bottle that we use! We only turn in the change once a year or less! In fact, I think the last time we did it was 2 years ago. Usually we put the money in a savings account for a vacation!

We have a coin jar…actually, 3. One for Quarters, one for dimes and nickels and one for pennies. We also have a small container for coins in the drawer where my husband keeps his wallet and keys. But most often, change can be found all over our counter and all over his drawer.

We save coins and when it seems like a good amount I take them to the bank to be counted. We usually use it to go out to eat for a treat.

I count my change about 3-4 times a year. I don’t touch the money unless I find myself flat broke and have an emergency. Last year I used it to buy a modem, sometimes I fill my tank up. I try to only take what I need and leave the rest whenever possible.
