Yes, our family keeps a coin jar, but we actually haven’t counted it. It just keeps adding up. Recently, I purchased a digital coin jar. I guess that’s taking the easy route in regards to counting. :) Thanks for the opportunity!

We have a gigantic glass vase that we put all of our coins in and cash in for extra spending money on vacations. Last time we cashed in over $400!

Yes, we have a huge coin jar. My hubby doesn’t allow me to touch it. he wants to save for a weekend trip. I “steal” quarters for parking. LOL!
Sara
We keep a coin jar and often turn to it when we are wanting to do something special, (Ex. a date night) and feel like our budget isn’t allowing it!

We have a coin jar that we use to collect quarters for the parking meters that we encounter when we are on summer vacation.

Coin jar would be too tempting to remove the coins. We have a ceramic pig without a hole in the bottom. We are saving for a new computer.

I keep my change in a quart size plastic bag, and when it is full I turn it in and deposit it in my daughters account.

We keep a coin jar on our bedroom dresser, but we don’t use cash often so we don’t have much change! I only cash it in at our bank (no fees for account holders) about once a year. I used to just put that money back into our checking account, but recently read a great idea of using your spare change to give a needy family a small boost at Christmas-time. Think we’ll do that this year!

All of our kids keep coin jars and they use the money to buy stuff they want. Our older kids have to count the change we give them and when they get it right they get to keep it!

We currently have a coin jar full of pennies for my daughter. We don’t count them–we just keep adding to the jar! We’ll just give her all the change when she’s older.
