I have a piggy bank that I keep all my change in…then when I need something small (fast food for example) I just grab some change!

We have a coin jar, but it doesn’t fill up very quickly! I try to use coins instead of bills when I can.

We have a coin jar. We count the money or use Coin Star twice a year at vacation time. We use the money for gas money on vacation. Usually we gave between $200-$300 in the jar each time.

We keep a coin jar, mostly for my husband, but we usually end up using the coins instead of cashing them in.

We have an actual piggy bank! When it gets full or close to it, I either roll the change and deposit it or take it to Coinstar (depending on how much time I have).

My husband has a coin jar on our dresser. Every three months we take the children up to a Coinstar machine and let them put the money in. It’s very exciting for them to see how much money that change becomes. We then take the money and deposit it in their savings account (but we keep a little for them to buy a dollar toy at Target.) :-)

    Thanks for the great giveaway!!

We do have a jar- but there is usually just pennies in it- because we all of use it when we need change for something.. It would be nice not to touch it for a year and they see what amount we would accumulate in one year or even in one month…..
    Thanks….

I keep a coin jar to supplement when money runs low – we’ve used our coins for everything from our daughter’s lunch to gas for our car for groceries!

Yes I keep a coin jar. I usually turn it in about once every 2 years. I spend that money on “stuff” that I don’t need usually.

Yes, I keep a coin depository. I use it for my garage sale money. When I leave to go garage sale shopping my coins can goes with me. I don’t have to worry about budgeting for my hunts, because I have my extra stash.

We keep our change in a plastic bag in our kitchen drawer and then the kids use the money each week on Thursdays to buy smoothies at their school. Thank you.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...
