We keep a coin counter so it’s easier to roll coins. That’s how we saved for our daughter’s education; with loose coins. Since she was born we saved $17,000 this way for her college!

I have one that I often raid if I know I’ll need coins when we are out. Possibly for vending machines or mall rides for the kids or food for animals at the zoo. I also cash it out when we move.
