I keep my change in a plastic tub that had play-doh cans in it..so I figured I’d reuse it. I never count the change and I use it to pay a bill or buy groceries or whatever I need when I cash it in.
Kris
Yes, we keep a coin jar (an old wet-ones container). We don’t count it often but it usually goes toward a fun extra on vacation.

We do keep a coin jar and it get’s cashed in periodically if we need it in an emergency otherwise it’s a vacation/christmas fund!

I have a coin jar, although I do not seem to accumulate a lot of change into it. I think there is a theif (Husband) who likes to dip in my jar. I would like to eventually use it towards something fun for the family.

We have a coin jar that take about 2 years to fill. We then put the money toward the kids college fund

MY coin jar has been transferred to my daughter’s piggy bank. She loves putting coins in and dumping them out. We also sort and count them, and when it starts getting full, we deposit them into her college account. She’s only two, but we’re getting ready! :o)

We have a coin jar; and, at the end of the year, we take all the money to a Coinstar and get Amazon gift cards for our Christmas presents.

We have always kept a coin jar. We count it about once a year right before a family vacation with the kids by spreading the change on the floor of the living room and making piles. We use this money as vacation “fun” money, that the kids can use to choose what we do for a day of our trip.

We have a coin jar from my college days that says Tabitha’s college fund. It’s empty. Debit cards have taken my loose change lol. We have another labeled Worlds of Fun jar and it’s duct taped shut with a slot on the top… and anyone in the family can put change in. We will probably use something like coinstar when it is full.

I have a coin jar but I only add to it when my purse feels like I need a fork lift to help me carry it. When it’s full we use it as mad monney.

I have a jar of coins near the garage door. The kids use them, and I sometimes take it in to a Coinstar machine. Thanks for a great giveaway!

My husband and I have a piggy bank, and it’s getting full! We’ve only been married 5 months, so I’m guessing we’ll be emptying it about every 6 months, if this time is any indicator. We’ll put that money towards our next vacation (or our honeymoon since we didn’t take one)!
