    I love going to the park and walk the trails. On the top of the trail there is a view of the lake. I love bringing ham and cheese sandwiches and chips and enjoy the view with my son and husband

    My favorite picnic was actually done at 8pm as a Girls Evening After Dark! Us girls, named the “Sunbeams” by our husbands, packed up our picnic baskets and wine, and headed down to the RiverWalk where we dined and listen to live Jazz music! Sweet and relaxing!

    I had a great picnic with some friends on the 4th of July. Tons of excellent food. Good conversations before the meal. Lots of yard games after the meal. And wonderful fireworks show that evening.

    We would go picnicing in the smokies and on blue ridge. I loved it because my dad would want cold fried chicken, potatoe salad, chicken salad and pimento chez. To this day, these are some of the staples we still need to have a picnic. Thanks for the giveaway!!

    I love picnicing at the lake. The kids and I pack our suits and hubby packs his rod. Sometimes hubby fries up chicken, sometimes I pack tortillas and pick up rotissierre chicken, salsa, shredded lettuce and light honey mustard. I’ll finish it off by packing grapes, and 4 croissants(or whatever treat is on sale at the bakery.) We throw in some waters and chocolate milks and make a day of it.

    Any park that has tons of shade and playground equipment work for us! We make it a simple lunch…peanut butter sandwiches, juice boxes, fruit and snacks galore!!
