While I didn’t print and use this coupon, we went through the drive-thru today. When they gave me my change back they handed out a business size card coupon for a free $1 menu item with purchase of one of these.

OMGosh. The frappes are my one true “splurge”. I usually do my major shopping on the weekends so my husband can keep our son at home (my getaway). Each week on my way home I stop and grab a Mocha Frappe and my eyes literally roll back in my head with each sip. YUM !!!

Once though, a few weeks back, their machine was messed up. I was broken hearted. I even drove to the next town to get one…rofl. AND they didn’t even offer the frappes at their location. HOW RUDE!! Needless to say, I ended up driving home with a shriveled up, good for nothin’ chocolate milkshake. Oh well…I made up for it the following week teehehee!

I’ve heard that some people are having trouble printing in Firefox. It worked fine for me, but if you’re having trouble, I’d recommend trying Internet Explorer or vice versa.

It gave me a blank page and at the top it says promotion. I clicked on that and sat back and enjoyed the ride. Took a while, then since I read the above messages (thanks re: ink) I quickly changed to black and white.

Just set your printer to “fast draft” and “black ink only”. It’ll save much more ink this way.

How much are the fruit smoothies? I may print this one (in grayscale) for a treat for the kids.

Why do they make coupons like this? Coupons are for people who want to save money by being frugal — they’re not for people who are wasteful and love to spend lots on ink. Stupid if you ask me.

Thankfully I was printing it in black & white…but I took it to McD at lunch today and they didn’t know how to use it. The cashier and the shift manager were both very nice about it but I ended up taking it back and getting a large tea instead. :-( They didn’t seem to have a “button” for this coupon on their less than 2 months old, state of the art, touchscreen! The berry smoothie was $2.49 I think, so I didn’t spend it.

Went to 2 McDonalds tonight just for a treat for myself. First, the machine was broken, second, refused to accept the coupon. I will try more McDonalds later in different directions. Hope no one else has the problem.
    They are 2.79 I think

BIG “BOOOOOOO” to McDonalds for having the most ink-wasting coupon I have ever seen. OMG! It took what little color ink I had left and printed an entire page so full of ink that the paper was limp from the ink weight.
I could put it in the blender and make a smoothie as red as the red berry one they have pictured.

Thank you for the coupon post :)

Hey everyone what has been your experience in trying to use this coupon. I am going to try later today and see what results I get. This time I feel like going in to talk to the manager. It is there new product and their new endorsement that they should honor the coupon. I feel a fight coming on.
