Win-It Wednesday: $100 Grocery Gift Card from Cellfire!

June 2, 2010 by Deal Seeking Mom 763 Comments

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at noon, 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

Cellfire

Many of you are probably already familiar with Cellfire, but for those of you that aren’t, Cellfire offers ecoupons that can be downloaded directly to your store loyalty card. The ecoupons are deducted automatically from your grocery total at checkout when you buy a qualifying item and swipe your loyalty card.

Participating stores include Baker’s, Carrs, City Market, Dillons, Dominick’s, Fry’s, Genuardi’s, Gerbes, Hilander, JayC, King Soopers, Kroger, Owen’s, Pavilions, Pay Less, QFC, Ralphs, Randall’s, Safeway, Scott’s, Shop Rite, Smith’s, Tom Thumb, Vons.

Every two weeks, Cellfire releases new coupon offers (which are added to the Coupon Database and posted here on the blog as well) that are available for download for two weeks. The coupons expire four weeks from the date they’re released, so at any given time there are two sets of coupons on your card. You can download all of the available coupons to your card, and they will be deducted automatically when you make a qualifying purchase.

Current offers include:

  • $0.75/2 Betty Crocker Supreme Brownie
  • $0.50/1 Bisquick Original or Heart Smart Baking Mix
  • $0.50/1 Fiber One Chewy Bars or 90 Calorie Chewy Bars
  • $0.55/1 Lucky Charms Cereal
  • and more…

I use ecoupons. While I am new to the coupon world and more so the ecoupons I think that they can reduce your grocery bill significantly. What is great about ecoupons is that you can use them in conjunction with printed or mailer coupons giving you twice the savings. Now that’s what I’m talking about!

I try to use all my ecoupons before they expire and then I use paper coupons on top them. I have to save as much as I can as we are on a tight budget. I love ecoupons they are convenient. I sometimes forget that I have some loaded and I see something in the store at a good price and I will get it and then on my receipt I saved from a cellfire ecoupon. Its great to save every little bit adds up.

Yes, I use Cellfire and Kroger e-coupons as well as Upromise. They definitely add to the savings on sale items especially if I have a paper coupon to combine with it. I just don’t like the very limited selection. There seem to be a very limited variety of items and companies that offer ecoupons.

I’ve only started using ecoupons. I like not having to carry around coupons, and how they automatically deduct, but I’m not good about keeping a list of what coupons I’ve loaded so I know what deals to look for!

I’ve used a few ecoupons, but not a lot since my husband always tells me it’s not good to download them because of spam and spyware…. I’m not sure what to believe!
