Win-It Wednesday: $100 AMEX Gift Card and Eco-Foil Pans!

September 22, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

Eco-Foil is a company dedicated to making a difference. Their aluminum baking trays and pans and the lids are made from 100% recycled materials. Not only are they made solely from recycled material, but Eco-Foil pans are also 100% recyclable themselves. So, what came from the recycling can go right back into the recycling. These are perfect for potlucks and the upcoming holidays because you can just rinse and recycle after you use them instead of having to worry about carting a dirty pan around or getting in the kitchen to wash it and then remembering to bring it home later after it’s dry.

Right now on their Facebook page, Eco-Foil is having a sweepstakes where you could win an iPad or one of ten second place prizes featuring their green products! Just “like” them on Facebook and enter the sweepstakes before 9/27 for a chance to win the final drawing on 9/30.

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a set of Eco-Foil Pans (ARV $30) and a $100 American Express Gift Card!

To enter, tell me what you like to make in aluminum pans. Do you bake brownies and cakes, or are casseroles more your style?

I like to make anything that has to go to work, school, church, or some other event that you don’t want to have to worry about getting your own pans home from. I have made cakes, brownies, coffee cake, lasagna, and other casseroles in aluminum pans. Wonderful!

I use aluminum foil pans all year round for different reasons. Around the holidays I use them to bake gifts of pumpkin or banana bread for the family and to send cookies or treats in with my husband to work. My husband usually works holidays and his co-workers generally put together a holiday potluck. I usually send chicken enchiladas, lasagna or another baked dish in the aluminum pans. It is easier for him to just rinse and recycle the pans at work than to have to cart home a dirty dish at the end of the work day – and then I don’t have to worry the whole time that I’ll never see my favorite pan or casserole dish again!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
