Win a Snow White Limited Edition Collector’s Set (valued at $190!)

October 11, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

SW Collector Ed
I mentioned last week how excited my 3-year-old daughter was for the remastered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to come out, and she was not one bit disappointed. I think we watched it 4 times the first day and at least once a day every day since. I loved watching her take such delight in a movie that I loved as a child, and I even noticed a few things that were new to me — like the fact that Snow White is wearing clogs at the beginning!

I’m also thrilled that Disney is offering the dual DVD/Blu-ray combination pack. I recently cashed in my Swag Bucks for a Playstation 3 so we now have the ability to view Blu-ray movies in our living room, but we still have the DVD edition that we can pop in the DVD player in our car for those long trips.

I’ve got a special treat for all of you Snow White and/or Disney fans out there!

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Snow White Limited Edition Collector’s Set, valued at $190, which includes:

  • Diamond Edition combo pack
  • The Making of a Masterpiece collector’s book
  • 8 piece character pin set
  • 7 piece lithograph set

To enter, tell me which Disney movie is your favorite. Do you remember when you first saw it? How many times have you watched it over the years?

Beauty & The Beast – I’ve watched it dozens of times and still enjoy watching it to this day and can’t wait until my daughter is old enough to enjoy it too – I was a bit older when it first came out but Disney classics are simply ageless!

Fantasia is still my all time classic favorite. The first time I ever saw it was at Radio City Music Hall in NYC on a school trip. It was around ’76 or ’77 an I was in 5th or 6th grade. It left quite an impression having seen it in that theater!!!

My oldest son watched The Lady and the Tramp over and over and over again when he was about two. Since he turned 16 this year, the movie is very dear to my heart.

    Hi!
My favorite Disney movie is a tie between Cinderella and Snow White. I began watching both before I could tie my shoes, and used to make my mom alternate watching the two movies with me every single day, for about 2 years.
I still love the classics. There is just nothing like them, and unfortunately, I don’t think there ever will be again.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
