I mentioned last week how excited my 3-year-old daughter was for the remastered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to come out, and she was not one bit disappointed. I think we watched it 4 times the first day and at least once a day every day since. I loved watching her take such delight in a movie that I loved as a child, and I even noticed a few things that were new to me — like the fact that Snow White is wearing clogs at the beginning!
I’m also thrilled that Disney is offering the dual DVD/Blu-ray combination pack. I recently cashed in my Swag Bucks for a Playstation 3 so we now have the ability to view Blu-ray movies in our living room, but we still have the DVD edition that we can pop in the DVD player in our car for those long trips.
I’ve got a special treat for all of you Snow White and/or Disney fans out there!
One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Snow White Limited Edition Collector’s Set, valued at $190, which includes:

My favorite is The Little Mermaid. I think it was the first Disney movie I saw in a theatre so it has always been my favorite. I just love the songs in it too! Even considered “Kiss The Girl” as my wedding song but didn’t end up going with it.

My favorite disney movie is the little mermaid. I use to watch it when I was a teenager and now that I have a little girl we love to watch the movie and sing all the songs. Sometimes we skip through the movie just to sing the songs.

My all time favorite Disney movie is Alice in Wonderland. I was way too small to remember the first time that I saw it but I have always loved it. Over the years I must have watched it thousands of times, whenever I feel down, nostalgic, sick or just can’t sleep I pop it in the DVD player and snuggle up in bed :D

My husband and I both love Toy Story. Thanks!

I’m going to give away my age here, but I can’t keep from telling all of you that Snow White was my first Disney favorite also. Every time I see the new commercials I think about my memories with that old favorite. After the movie release, I received the 33-1/3 record album with Disney illustrated book. It was one of my favorite things for years. I think I was 6, maybe 7 the year I got it for Christmas. You don’t know how many times I wish I still had that old favorite. My only child is a boy. Needless to say, he never was quite as thrilled with Snow White as his mother was!
