I mentioned last week how excited my 3-year-old daughter was for the remastered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to come out, and she was not one bit disappointed. I think we watched it 4 times the first day and at least once a day every day since. I loved watching her take such delight in a movie that I loved as a child, and I even noticed a few things that were new to me — like the fact that Snow White is wearing clogs at the beginning!
I’m also thrilled that Disney is offering the dual DVD/Blu-ray combination pack. I recently cashed in my Swag Bucks for a Playstation 3 so we now have the ability to view Blu-ray movies in our living room, but we still have the DVD edition that we can pop in the DVD player in our car for those long trips.
I’ve got a special treat for all of you Snow White and/or Disney fans out there!
One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Snow White Limited Edition Collector’s Set, valued at $190, which includes:
- Diamond Edition combo pack
- The Making of a Masterpiece collector’s book
- 8 piece character pin set

Do I really have to choose just one Disney movie? I’ve been a Disney junkie forever; I was collecting Disney movies on VHS before I even had kids! Many of the animated features hold a special place in my heart but I think the favorite would be a toss-up between Cinderella and Peter Pan. I remember being a 1st grader in the 70’s and watching both those movies on my little sister’s Show & Tell. The little record would play on top and automatically activate the movie strip.

My favorite disney movie is beauty and the beast! I love that movie.

My all time favorite move is Beauty and the Beast. I first saw it as an adult and was thrilled when the main female character had brown hair and brown eyes….not blonde! All my life, most dolls, had blonde hair and blue eyes. This was truly a breakthrough for me!

My favorite Disney movie is Robin Hood, hands down!! “Robin Hood and Little John runnin’ through the forest” – I know you know it, everybody join in and sing! It was one of the first movies on VHS I ever bought and I STILL watch it, more years than I want to admit, later! :)
