Kroger recently asked me to give their Kroger brand Deluxe Ice Cream a try. Who would pass up an opportunity for free ice cream?!?

So I sent my husband and older daughter off to the store to pick out a treat, and they came back with strawberry and cookies ‘n cream. The cookies ‘n cream was my fave, but my girls were partial to the strawberry. We all agreed it was darn good high-quality ice cream!

    I don’t know if we’ve ever tried the kroger brand…we usually wait for Bluebell to go on sale. My favorite is probably anything with nuts…butternut pecan is yummy!

    Chocolate chip cookie dough. If I’m at home, I have it in a bowl but if we go out for ice cream I usually get it in a waffle bowl or a chocolate dipped waffle cone.

    My favorite is three scoops of three different flavors: cookies and cream, mint chocolate chip, and a chocolate flavor like brownie fudge. Put all three scoops in a single bowl with chocolate syrup over the top.

    However, last night, I was trying some Kroger ice cream and I had Carmel Pralines over a brownie warm and fresh from the oven, and I was very pleased by the deliciousness of my treat.

    I became a fan on Facebook, but it said I was too late. My all time favorite is Strawberry and it has to be in a bowl.

    My favorite flavor is vanilla because there are so many different ways to top it. I like it plain, in a cup with Nestle chocolate milk powder and a little bit of milk and then stirred, or topped with carmel. I love to eat my ice cream in the ice cream cup bowls. Ummm, yummy!
