My favorite part of the meal is mashed potatoes and gravy or gravy and stuffing or gravy. Sometimes I think I could just drink gravy by itself! For me, it’s the ultimate comfort food and an important part of the holiday meal!
Thanks

We probably have two favorite food traditions. The first is when I was in Highschool home ec. we made something called Indian Corn Casserole (basically eggs, corn, cheese and bacon). We literally have had this every Thanksgiving since. The second, growing up my Mom used to make this appitizer before Thanksgiving she made a bunch and froze them so we had them before each holiday dinner (TDay, Christmas Eve and Christmas). Now us “kids” make them every year and it is called a pizza bread, basically sausage, hambuger and velveeta all mixed and put on a party rye bread, frozen then broiled till toasted. YUM

and my favorite part of thanksgiving has become seeing what traditional thanksgiving foods my 2-year-old will eat. the first year it was just breast milk (he was 6 weeks old!). last year, he ate turkey, dressing, and rolls. this year i’m hoping he’ll try to get a veggie in there too!
