My favorite part of Thanksgiving is the homemade macaroni and cheese that my sister-in-law makes. I also love baking a crumb-topped pumpkin pie for the occasion and my mother-in-law’s pumpkin roll.

I can’t get enough mashed potatoes with gravy, and I have to mix my corn around in my potatoes to make it extra yummy.

I’m a vegetarian, so I rely solely on the sides during Thanksgiving dinner. My favorite part of dinner are the mashed potatoes. I’m a college student and never get that kind of cooking while at school! And, of course, if there isn’t green bean casserole, I’d be pretty upset.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
