Here are the newest deals to be found at Walmart. For the full list of current deals check out the Walmart Deals page!

Don’t miss the FREE Ice Cream Event this Saturday, May 30th!

Some tips for shopping Walmart:

  • Walmart’s prices vary by region, even by store within the same area, but generally they are reasonably close to the listed price.
  • Walmart does accept Internet printable coupons. You may find it helpful to print out and carry a copy of the Walmart corporate coupon policy with you.
  • Walmart will price match competitor’s ads on like items.

New to couponing? Read up on what all of these abbreviations mean first in my quick reference guide.

Have you found any stellar bargains at Walmart lately? Please feel free to email me so I can share them (while giving you credit, of course)! Along the same lines, if you find a deal is no longer valid because the coupon has expired or reached its print limit, it’s very helpful if you let me know so I can keep it current. Has anyone tried the Coppertone deal yet? My coupon prints really small so I am not sure it will work. Also, if you have used it, did you print in color?

I am just feeling really uneasy about this Q because it isn’t a brick and cannot be verified.

omg my walmart gave me a huge problem about my printable coupons even though i showed them coorpoarte policy they said it a store choice and that would be the last time i use them. I called coorporate but they didnt seem to care either. I asked for a supervisor to call me back its been a week, im still waiting for that call. Just tought I’d give a heads up.

I have tried the Coppertone coupons at Walmart and it did work. Mine printed small too and it does not need to be in color. At my walmart they have the coppertone on a key chain for 3.97 so i paid .97.

I have a new born and though i tried the other day to keep her in the shade i was still nervous. The stick is great for her because its less hassle trying to not get it into her eyes, or have it get on her hands.
Also walmart in Lee Co Iowa has 2 liters of Mt.Dew for a dollar. We drink that around here because its cheaper on deposits.

Last week I went to use my Bar-S coupons at my local walmart. Had a little whip of a turd try to tell me it was ILLEGAL to use a coupon to get an item for free. Then tried to tell me the company would not accept the coup0ns. Then told me that well, you know, you still have to pay sales tax (duh?!?). After the shift manager saw me get angry and make him VOID all the items (has to be done one by one at self-checkout), she came right over and cleared things up.

Second time I’ve had a run-in with this guy. The first time, he tried to tell me that if a coupon says one per purchase, I can’t use two. Apparently his vocabulary is lacking, as well as his tact.

But I did come home with EIGHT packages of hotdogs. Two from Coupons.com, and two from the Bar-S website.

Now if my local Dillon’s would take on that 10 cents for a packet of kool-aid,…

I have a question about the Blue Bunny coupon. The Blue Bunny Large Single Serve Ice Cream Sandwiches are $1 at Wal-Mart but the coupon states “Any (1) Novelty featuring Birthday Party and Triple Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwiches”. It has a photo of a box of 10 and not the single ice cream sandwiches. I am sure the UPC codes would match and the cashier would not catch it; but in my mind the coupon and the product don’t match. Am I correct by thinking this? I might be over thinking this?

What’s pictured on a coupon is not always what they’re valid on. The most important part is what the coupon states the item is valid on, and this particular coupon does not indicate it’s only good on multi-serve packs. Good question though!

Thanks, I agree the photo doesn’t matter because they will put the most expensive product photo on the coupon to make you think that it is only for that product. What is gnawing at me is the “featuring Birthday Party and Triple Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwiches” wording.

I try my best to be fair to myself and the stores and I am very careful when using coupons to not add to the store frustrations with misuse. My fear is that printable coupons will go away eventually due to the increased fraud (KFC fiasco). Some stores in our area are actually refusing to take them regardless of their corporate coupon policy. As Kate mentioned above, they just “don’t care”.

We don’t have access to eCoupons in our area. I am hoping it will come soon; this seems like the best way for the consumer and the stores. No coupon cutting and appears to be very difficult to cheat with eCoupons?

That makes sense, but the word “featuring” to me only indicates that they are highlighting those products to bring them to customers attention. It’s not limiting the coupon to only those items.

Ecoupons may be the way to go in the future, but they still have a long way to go and have their share of issues. There’s currently no way to limit customers from using both a paper manufacturer coupon and an ecoupon in the same transaction. This is complicated because once an ecoupon is loaded, you can’t remove it or even check to see what coupons you’ve loaded in many cases. Also ecoupons don’t double and tend to be of lesser value than more paper and printable coupons.

It will be interesting to see the course they take over the next few years.

I was just at WalMart tonight and my local store had some Kellogg’s cereals marked down to $1.50/box: 12oz Froot Loops, 12 oz. Rice Krispies and 17 oz.Frosted Flakes, specifically. None of the other Kellogg cereals were marked down. Oh, and my two boxes of Rice Krispies had peelies for $1.00 off private label marshmallows – so I got two bags of marshmallows for 32-cents after those coupons. My kids are going to freak when they see 10 boxes of cereal and two huge bags of marshmallows in the pantry! LOL

They also had Dunkin’ Donuts coffee marked down to $6.50 and I had a couple of $1.50 off coupons – I was thrilled to get DD coffee for $5.

They also had Kraft salad dressings marked down to $1.58 and
Velveeta Shells & Cheese dinners (the regular ones – not the ones w/bacon or broccoli) were $1.50.

What size are those Hefty 18-count trash bags? I could REALLY use some of the kitchen size ones, but one of our two local stores didn’t have any 18-count. It makes me wonder if that’s the size or if they’re the tiny ones that go into a bathroom sized trash can. Anyone know? I tried to click on the referring link to Nancy’s blog, but it keeps asking me to sign up for an account with blog.com. :)

At our Wal-Mart stores (both of them) the Febreeze Noticeables are now $5 each for the starter kit. Using the $4/1 starter kit coupons makes them only $1!! They also had a new fragrance yesterday, limited edition (Christmas) holiday scents.

Also, Wal-Mart now carries the new Suave for Men deodorants. The smaller size (not trial size) is priced at $0.97. If you use the $0.50/1 coupon, this makes for $0.47 deodorant for your man! :)

There’s always a lot of great deals at Wal-mart! When I shop there I usually buy the “Equate” brand of products. They are just the same as the well known brand name products, but much cheaper. For instance I buy ibuprofen in a box with two bottles of tablets at 100 count each for $4.00. I also buy the “Equate” brand of Goldbond medicated powder. Same ingredients, works just as good! The lady who sent the e-mail about buying cereal was right too! They always have very good prices on cereal and when you have a coupon it’s even better! I have been using coupons for a long time and I saved a lot of money! They’re worth taking the time cutting them out!
