The Trident gum…..the ad says regualr Trident. Does this include the Xtra care kind (which is whatthe coupon is for)? I do not think so…since it says 18 pieces, the xtra care kind is just 14 pieces.

I think Tomato Soup could be counted as a cooking soup. I cook with it, so I’m sure others do too.

Karen, most stores won’t hold you to the limit of 3, but if that’s a very good question on how it would work if they do. Let me see if I can find some info, or maybe someone else will come along that can answer.

If you look @#2 on the list (NWA) she says the deal can be done on seperate receipts and she also thanks and links the blogger for the idea found here: https://www.survivingthestores.com/2009/03/walgreens-deals-322-328-preview.html

    Just and FYI…
Some wags have the Hunts sauce already on sale at .80 ea so you need to buy 13 to get the deal. I didn’t realize that until I had already bought them and got home to look at my receipt. So I need to go back and buy 2 more. Also, I got all of my sauces at once , gave them one of the ad coupons and they didn’t give me any problems over it. I would just try purchasing them all and then give them the coupon to see if it works. If they give you a hassle then split them up into different transactions.

I think the same thing might have happened with the Butterball broth earlier in the month. I will have to check my receipt and make sure that I hit at least the $10 mark on those as well and get more if not to make sure I get the rebates. Others might want to double check their receipts too. It would be too bad if we were denied the rebate because we didn’t buy enough to reach the $10. I have found you can’t know the actual cost until you ring it through due to the computer figuring out discounts on multiple items, etc.

    Thanks, Christy! That’s very helpful.

Has anyone been able to use the Schick coupon?

The same thing happened to me with the Hunt’s that Christy said. Now I have to make another trip in the next couple days to get to the $10.

I also did the Glade Sense & Spray 9.99, used b1g1 coupon and $4 easy saver coupon. They put the price on the b1g1 as $5.99, which made me pay $3.00 for each instead of $1 for each. Hardly anything went right for me during this trip. :o(

I don’t get the newspaper so I didn’t have the coupon listed for the Kellog’s cereals, BUT, coupons.com has a $1/2 Frosted Flakes coupon. I just printed 2 off and everything worked out great!

As far a limit on the Hunts it is better to buy 4 or less at a time. My store has the regular price as 5/$4 so if I buy 11 at once my price before the ad coupon is only $8.99 (10 for $8 and .99 for 1 ) so not enough for the rebate. However if I buy 4 or less they ring up at .99 each. Anyways, if they impose a limit can’t you go through the line again? Maybe I’ll have my toddler “buy” some Hunts tomato sauce…ha ha

Oops, missed Christy’s comment…question though. Isn’t the Butterball and Hunts part of the same deal- meaning we can only buy a total of $10 worth of product and get 1 $5 rebate back?

Where are you finding the Hunts Tomato Sauce coupon? I just searched my online weekly ad and did not find it. Thanks.

The Hunts and Butterball are part of the same deal so you can only do one, I called customer service today on it. I’m personally taking back most of my chicken broth so I can do the Hunts since it is a better deal.

I also used my Schick coupon with no problems. I bought the Quattro and it worked great. The coupon in the ES catalog shows the Quattro and Trim Style. Maybe others didn’t have two $4 Schick coupons in their inserts but mine had the $4 off the Quattro or Trim and also a $4 off Intuition or Intuition+. The Intuitions were not included in the offer but maybe they will run something on them soon.

    Deal Seeking Mom,
I purchased the Schick Quattro razor today with no problem. I used the ES $4.00 coupon as well as the $4.00 MQ in the Sunday inserts. That left me paying $0.99 OOP.

Just wanted to tell you about a deal I discovered at my Walgreen yesterday…I found that the Jane mineral make-up is on clearance at my store. There are some really great deal here when you combine the clearance price with the coupon for $2 off Jane cosmetics found in the April issue of All You. I was able to get the loose powder on clearance for $2.29…minus my $2 coupon…so the total was only $0.29!!!

They had a ton of different things to choose from. I also discovered I had $1 off coupons from one of the Sunday coupon inserts…unfortunatley I can’t rememeber which on! You can also get some really great deals using these coupons as well!

    Thanks!
