• If you have areas that need a little extra coverage, go back and apply a little more of the BB cream to these areas. I usually need a little extra to cover redness around my nose and under my eyes.
• Powder isn’t necessary, but if you prefer a little more matte finish, apply a loose powder after you’ve let the BB cream set for about two minutes.

After following these steps, you can continue to apply the rest of your makeup as usual. Added bonus — I’ve found that the BB cream is actually great at giving my eyeshadow some extra staying power!

I’m guessing most of you have at least heard of BB creams by now. The BB stands for “beauty balm,” and it’s a sheer facial product that’s designed to replace a number of products you might have in your makeup bag, namely serums, moisturizers, primers, foundations, sunblocks and possibly concealers.

I’ve never been a big fan of foundation, personally. I find it too heavy and feel like I’m wearing a mask when I have it on, so I was eager to try out this new product. Know what I found out?
