our favorite frugal thing is to make different colored ice cubes with multiple kinds of koolaid or food coloring or juice. Makes for fun color combinations or silly sort of popsicles if you put a popsicle stick or toothpick in them

My favorite Summer frugal activity is playing in our Inflatable Octopus sprinkler that I got from Pottery Barn Kids last year for a GREAT price and I had a coupon! It is so cute and so much fun to see my son playing in it and laughing while water is squirting everywhere.

Thanks for all the money saving info! We have a 3 yr old and 16 mth old. Saving money is very important along with enjoying the children and making the most of out time together. We love to sit in/by the (blow-up) pool sipping our juicy-juices’ and picnicing in the back yard. We also spend time at our beautiful Norfolk Botanical Gardens playing in the fountains of the childrens WOW gardens, the membership is worth its weight in gold and pays for itself time and time again. Story time at the library is free and great in so many ways. Thanks again for providing an awsome resource!

We are very blessed to have no less than 3 parks in our neighborhood! It’s great in the spring, summer and fall to be able to take our 3 yr old to any one of them. We pack up a picnic lunch or a snack and plenty of icy drinks, sunscreen and a few items, like a ball, a frisbee and even a ride-on toy, and head out into the sunshine. Our favorite park, right up the street, also has a walking track and an SPCA building next to it, adjoining it. People with their new puppies and dogs generally come over to the park and go for a walk, and the dogs as well as the kids at the park particularly enjoy this! It’s a great thing!

We just stay home and use our pool that cost a small fortune to put in our backyard!

My favorite summer frugal activity with the kids is flying kites with the kids. We received free kites at a kids fun day at our local park and the kids love flying their kites they received.
