Spring Hill Nursery: $20 Worth of FREE Plants!

April 21, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 13 Comments

Spring Hill Nurseries
Update: It looks like they’ve raised the minimum shipping to $12.95. Be sure to look for sale items to still turn this into a good deal. For example, you can get 2 dwarf orange trees + pots or 3 without the pot for $12.95 shipped.

Don’t miss out on this hot coupon from Spring Hill Nursery! Get $20 off any order with coupon code 414217 (coupon will be adjusted down if you order less than $20). You’ll pay just $7.95 in shipping if your product total is $20 or less, $9.95 if it’s a couple dollars more.

Choose from ornamental grasses, flowering trees, small fruits (everything from orange trees to raspberries), bulbs and more!

I just called them because the shipping jumps from $7.95 to $12.95 when this coupon code is entered. They said that the 12.95 shipping rate is a flat shipping rate. Just a heads up! Its still a great coupon though and I am ordering a grape vine and banana tree for my garden. :)

I entered the code and it only took $10 off instead of $20. Is there a minimum to get the $20 off?

Sorry. It adjusted the price to $10 and then took $10 off so yes, I got $20 off but the shipping went up to $12.95 But isnt that about the same amount, or cheeper, for buying a dwarf fruit tree at Lowe’s etc?

It looks like they raised the shipping; it was $7.95 when I ordered my dwarf fruit tree earlier!

Just thought I’d mention we used this nursery last year. We ordered and planted everything as the directions said but less than 25% came back this year. It’s a little disappointing. But, with the money saved form the coupon, everything cost about the same as buying it locally. Six of one, half a dozen of the other…

Just ordered a seven plant garden for $14.00, shipping included. Could not get this cheaper anywhere. Remember that Spring Hill will take any plants back that do not grow even years later. I’ve had to do that before and they are excellent about that. Plus some of their plants will wait a few years and then grow like crazy.

I just used this coupon and it did raise my shipping from $9.95 to $12.95 but I got the $20 off the total order AND 1/2 off one of my plants…well worth it- thanks DSM!

For those of you that ordered when the shipping was still low ($7.95 or $9.95) check your accounts because they tried to charge the $12.95 anyway. My shopsafe number protected me and the charge was declined but I had to call and they were reluctant to reduce the price at first. Call if you were charged wrong!
