For $30, you can get everything on this Christmas dinner menu, which includes:

  • One 10-lb bag of russet potatoes
  • Sara Lee dinner rolls
  • And a pumpkin pie

And for $40, you can throw a New Year’s Eve party for 10:

  • Shrimp Tray
  • Vegetable Tray
  • Hillshire Farms Little Smokies
  • Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • Land O’Lakes Egg Nog
  • Red Velvet Cake

    For holiday recipes, I use my mom’s cookbook. She passed away in April 2008. I like using her recipes because it feels like she’s still a part of our holiday. My favorite is her sweet potato casserole recipe. I’m making it tomorrow!

    The traditional turkey dinner is fine with me: turkey, rolls, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, corn with homemade Christmas Cookies for dessert.

    Our favorite holiday dishes are sausage cornbread dressing and green bean casserole. We serve the traditional holiday meals that we grew up with and use the recipes that my mom passed down to me.
