My family favorite dish has to be meatballs made in chile sauce and grape jelly for company. Easy to cook up in the crockpot and keep warm all day to graze during the chaos!

Sweet Potatoes are one of my favorites. I tried a new recipe this year making twice baked potatoes with sweet potatoes instead of white and it was so good! I visit several recipe sites for inspiration.

Our traditional Christmas dinner is homemade manicotti – I’ve never seen or tasted any as beautiful as the recipe from my Grandmother. The shells are individually made and so light, they’re heavenly!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
