One of my favorite holiday and anyday appetizers is this fruit dip:

    1 jar marshmallow creme
    1 block cream cheese

Blend until smooth. Dip apples, grapes, strawberries or your favorite fruit. Yummy!

I can’t decidde what I must look forward to….I think it may be potato casserole, which my mother in law got me hooked to. Yummy combo of hashbrowns, cream of celery soup, cheaddar cheese, and onions. Yum!

Holiday foods should be savory and require little prep – no full meals, unless it’s take-out.
Shrimp cocktail, deli platters, cookies, etc are the way to go in my opinion.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
