I love all the sweets that are baked around this time. Sugar cookies, pumpkin pie, four layer dessert- should I go on?

My favorite holiday food is green bean casserole. When I want to find something new I usually go to kraft’s recipe site, the food network’s website, or allrecipes.com.

My mom always used to make this Hungarian torte every Christmas. It takes HOURS. I did it for a while after she passed and hope to begin the tradition again soon.

My favorite dish of all for christmas is a green bean caserole. I also love to make a honey glazed ham.

To make the glaze I mix:
    honey
    brown sugar
    A little melted butter
and cinamon to make a glaze pour over ham about a half hour before done cooking and let it turn brown. The glaze should go on like a paste and melts into ham as it cooks.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
