I made one for less than $2.00 – Not sure why mine costs two bucks…I must have accidentally added some pages. It went WAY faster when I didn’t have to keep uploading pictures. Thanks DSM for helping me do Christmas shopping on a small budget!

Been trying to get it done since about 3 p.m. Got all my photos uploaded with no trouble but when I go to start designing the book, I get the “Technical Difficulties” message. The person on Live Chat said to just keep trying (site overload). Six hours later, still trying…*sigh*

finally got mine to work yesterday, but it was in the early morning hours. i didn’t add that many pictures at all since it kept saying low resolution on most of all my photos, and i tried about everything to make it not say that, but no luck, so i added pictures to the front cover, and on three other pages, the rest i left blank (black), since i always can just add more photos to it on my own, i can always pick up stuff from the kraft store & get creative with it. i was thinking about having people sign it in silver or gold ink, maybe write memories in it on one page & then something different on the next. i dont know, the ideas are endless…..

I just made mine with no problems. I thought it went really fast. It took about an hour after uploading all the photos (about 40) adding captions and text and playing around till I got it the way I wanted it. When I put the code in I made sure to use all caps. I’m not sure if that made a difference, but I see some people had trouble using the code. They still want a credit card on the billing page, but states your card will not be charged if you owe $0.00. A lot of fun, can’t wait to get it!

I could not sleep, so I thought that I would give it a shot since everyone else is sleeping and I have time. Well, I got my photos uploaded and started my book and then on page two it stopped. Frustrated!

Patience is a virtue with this deal. I took the advice from a reader and uploaded any and all pictures I MIGHT even think about using. I also was given the “low resolution” flag on one of my pic’s and found this was a cell phone picture. I used it anyway as I used the same one on a Kodak ornament and it came out fine, they just won’t guarantee the print. When it seemed to have stalled, I walked away for a few minutes and when I returned the book was all loaded, it just takes time. Remember to close out all your other applications to help speed up the process. Good luck and Safe and Happy Holidays!

This takes time but is so worth it. I did it today and it took me about 2 and a half hours to put in everything I wanted but in the end it was awesome! I used my honeymoon pictures to make a gift for my husband. If you have the time do it – just be patient. THANKS SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!

I did mine today and though there were some error messages, etc., I was able to figure it out. Great deal!

FYI – if you are using a mac, make sure to use Safari as your browser. I had a problem with checkout so I opened Firefox and checked out that way because I couldn’t get the state/country click boxes to work.

Thank you soooo much for sharing this. I’ve spent the past 24 hours gathering and restoring photos of my grandparents, some of which are over 75 years old. I made a lovely book for my grandmother, and everything worked flawlessly other then being a tad bit slow.

Just finished my book. The site was a bit slow, and it took me about an hour to organize everything. But I uploaded all my photos at once like the other ladies suggested.

I used the code BONNIE and all charges came off, just as promised. So excited about this offer! Thanks for posting!!

Thanks for posting this, DSM. This wasn’t my favorite photo book website to work with, as there didn’t seem to be any free-hand layout (place-the-pictures-yourself and stretch or shrink them) but it sure was an amazing deal.

Offer is still good! Just finished mine, and it’s adorable. My first photobook ever (and it took forever!). A word of advice, you need about 40-50 photos, not a min. of 20 like it says. Upload lots. And if you get booted from the site due to tech. diff., it does save your work at the bottom of the main page under “my photo works” it has “projects”. Didn’t see that til much later and I started ALL OVER for nothing. ugh! Awesome deal in the end! So happy I did it!

The deal is over! There are no offers left! I just wanted everyone to know that so they wouldn’t work on a book for HOURS and then be disappointed at checkout.
