Old Navy Weekly: Coupon Hiding Places Recap

June 1, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 161 Comments

old-navy-weekly-couponsBoy, Old Navy Weekly sure kept us hanging on all day yesterday. I’m so excited that I finally snagged the big $75 off $100 coupon – can’t wait to take my 4-year-old daughter shopping for some new summer clothes!

It’s not clear whether they’ll be refreshing the coupons throughout the week as they have in the past weeks, but just in case, here’s the full rundown of hiding places for this week.

Where are the coupons?

  • 10% off any Purchase – Put the black & white strapless dress on blond mannequin.
  • 15% off any Purchase – Click on the American flag the mannequin in the flag shirt is holding.
  • 30% off $50 Purchase – Drag the scarf to the blond mannequin’s neck.
  • $20 off $100 Purchase – Rearrange the flag shirts to be in red, white, and blue order.
  • $50 off $100 Purchase – Click on the blue polo under “More Fabulous Finds.” (not everyone could see this for some reason.)
  • $75 off $100 Purchase – Click the palm trees behind the mannequin wearing the red American flag shirt. Then click on the head of the parrot that flies around. (he’s a tough booger to catch!)

I had a great time chatting with everyone last night! I’ll let you know when I hear about the next update so we can do it again.

I bet they will update it again. It says check back soon and it used to say check back next week. So I think that means it will update through out the week like it has been. Good Luck Everyone!

I don’t know if anyone else got a $75 off $100, but I did! On top of that, when I went to redeem it today it scanned as $100 off!!!! I don’t know if I just got a fluke or what, but it sure was nice! Anyone else have that “problem”?

I’d really like to know if it works like that! That would be crazy. JennyJ you can only use these coupons at the store. I’d be happy to use your 75 off for you if you aren’t going to use it. I have two kids and my husband got laid off. If you’re not going to use it will you consider giving it to me. [email protected]

If anyone has an extra ’50 off 100′ or ’75 off 100′, I would love to have one. Like so many others, I need to buy my kids some clothes. Thanks! [email protected]

Jenny I would ask a sales associate at the store if you can order online through the store. I know that sometimes you can do that with returns and they might me able to make an exception with your situation. I would just make sure that you look online first, then go into the store and have everything that you want ready to go and have the cashier or customer service call Old Navy Online and place the order then you could still pay in the store and it might work. I have done it several times with exchanges. I hope that helps!

Did anyone else have issues not seeing the polo shirt yesterday? I thought it was odd how some people had access to select the polo shirt for the $50 off and some didn’t. I refreshed my screen time and time again and it was not on the site. Perhaps I should write to ON about it???

I watched the site all day, and at 10:50 pm (central) I took a nap until Midnight. The website was released at 10:57pm!!!! I wanted to scream. I really hope they do the $75 again!

    Niki,

I have had to return some stuff and it was a little difficult. Since the coupons take money off of each item, the return can be a hassle. When I did it, the cashier was very confused and I even tried to make the exchanges match the same amounts as the stuff I had on the receipt, but overall, they ended up just evening out the amounts and I did not have a problem. I know some stores won’t do it after the expiration date on the coupon.

Help end eBay coupon scalpers as it increases your (and my) odds of getting a coupon.

1: Search eBay for “old navy 75 coupon”.
    https://shop.ebay.com/items/_W0QQ_nkwZoldQ20navyQ2075Q20couponQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZQQ_mdoZ

2: Report all the old navy weekly coupons as
    “Prohibited (banned items)”
    “Currency, Coins, Stamps, Coupons, etc.”
“Coupon Listings that fail to meed eBay guidelines”

3: Give a description stating items are invalid, fraudulent, etc. describe it however you want.

4: Include all item numbers you can find (in groups or 10).

    5: Send Report

    Kendra,

I was just wondering because if let’s say I used a 50 off 100 and Out of pocket was like $55 or something. And let’s say I couldn’t really afford everything I bought so I wanted to take some stuff back. Could I return them and get my money back so I only maybe ended up spending 20 bucks but still basically got the 50% off.?

Do you think it was a hassle because you tried to “exchange”? I’m wondering if it would be easy to return stuff, as long as you had your reciept and it was in the proper dates. etc.

    Up again – I snagged a 15% off.
The $50 and $75 were all gone, as was one other that I checked (forget which one). I may not be able to use this one – let me know if you want it if I can’t use it.
    Thanks for the help!

I checked sooo many times yesterday, but realistically I probably would not have clicked until I found a $75 off coupon :)

To everyone wondering about the Old Navy returns if you use a coupon- I have never used one of these coupons, but I have used the coupons they send cardholders, as well as their reward certificates (which for some reason are treated as coupons).

They will prorate the amount of the refund that you get (like Kendra described). Mine would not allow me to exchange for the same item in another size – I got prorated credit for the return and had to pay full price for the “exchange”.

Their customer service is pretty awful, and their policies pretty rigid, so I can’t say I’m shocked. Saves me money though, because I hardly ever shop there now :)

As for returns – I returned some items and it was easy. It just divided the discounts among the items… as a % off – does that make sense? So for example I bought a $10 shirt and it came to $8.11 with the discount so I was credited the 8.11 plus tax… I also was able to use my bucks back with the coupon for an even better deal.

Yeah it is exactly what Brenda and Kim said. The coupon discounts each item and so whatever amount the coupon brings it to is the amount you will receive on a return.

I spoke with ON due to this disaster of a process and the multiple ebay sellers making a profit and he said they wouldnt be updating (at least the big coupons). I think that might be what they meant when they said “You’ll only have one chance”. Just a heads up – although he could have been lying or unaware – but it was the department that is specially handling this situation and the calls pertaining to ONweekly.

I checked the page last night about one minute after it was updated and kept trying to get the parrot for about an hour and never saw a blue polo! Has anyone figured out why some people couldn’t see it? I never did get the parrot… had to settle for 30% off $50. If anyone has a spare 50 or 75 I would appreciate it.
