I am really disapointed in this potential deal. I just tried this at a Dayton, Ohio Meijer and did not receive my Catalina. I didn’t argue it because I had no physical proof of the Catalina.

It worked at my local Anderson, In store. $5 does not print until after you have paid for your order and everything is complete.

I looked at the ‘doubles’ at Meijer yesterday. The shelf-talker was marked with the $1 price, but there was no indication of a catalina. Not wanting to argue with a cashier again, I decided I didn’t really need the cottage cheese or the aggravation. Somehow, Meijer always seems like a Survivor ‘Immunity Challenge.’ Thanks for giving me something to watch for, though.

I wonder if Kroger is the same as meijer. They seem to have alot of the same things on sale? I think Kroger has the sargento salad and potato finishers for 2/$4.00. I hope they do ’cause I have 8 .75 cents off.

This catalina is also at Safeway grocery stores (but I don’t know if SW has this particular item above at this sale price.)

The catalina is “buy 5 or more of various Kraft products” and get “$5 off on your next purchase” catalina coupon.
    …AND….
someone else mentioned that Kraft has a rebate going on now until May 2010(?) – that when you buy $20 in Kraft products, you get a $10 rebate check from them. You can google for the rebate form and terms on this.

So you could do two offers here.

So, if you make 4 separate purchases of the above sale cottage cheese – you would get back 4 of the “$5 off oynp” – AND, you would get back a $10 rebate check, too.

P.S. the Kraft items have to be 6oz. or larger in size.

    ..CORRECTION…
about the rebate when $20 Kraft purchase: I need to correct what I previously posted. It is not a rebate, but a catalina coupon. It is not $10, but it is $2.

The deal is at Safeway (at least) when you buy the specific Kraft products using your retail customer card (i.e., a Safeway card) – then from now until 5/8/2010, when your accumulative total of those Kraft items reaches $20, then you will get a $2 catalina coupon. The coupon might not print immediately on that day you reach $20, but will print within one week of your Kraft total reaching $20.
A customer can reach $20 more than one time, so you could get more than one $2 catalina.

jan, I know what you mean about the immunity challenge! THat place drives me bonkers! I was back today for the free Fruit snacks, Free Betty Crocker icing/cake mix and hoping for some more cottage cheese doubles, but they were out of stock! The doubles are not listed anywhere as part of the promotion, but they are producing the catalina (did it earlier in the week and tonnes of people on the boards had luck too) and it did last summer too with the same promotion :D

Apparently, this promotion is still going on this week. I noticed the sign by the other Kraft products about getting $5 OYNO, and since both my husband and I love them anyway, I thought I would try it. (It worked for me last week in Saginaw, MI) I tried it, and it worked. So, I made my husband go through the line (poor man :) )and do it again, and it worked for him as well, so basically I got 10 of them for free. YAY!
