Ladies Who Lunch Giveaway: Mario Batali or Elle Lunch Bag

December 3, 2008 by Tara Kuczykowski

Elle Christy Lunch BagIn my post the other day on seven easy ways to cut $1 or more out of your daily budget, I mentioned that packing your lunch on a daily basis is an excellent way to make huge impact on your budget. Brown-bagging it can get old and boring quickly though . . . until now.

Cosmoda sent me this adorable Elle Christy Lunch Bag, and it almost makes me wish I had an office job again just to be able to carry my lunch back and forth in it! I was surprised at how nice the quality is, and you’d totally never even guess it’s a lunch bag until you unzip it and see the insulated material inside. Both the interior and exterior wipe clean easily, and did I mention just how gosh darn cute it is?!?

Cosmoda wants to help you save money by packing your lunch and still look chic while doing it, so they’ve given me three adorable lunch bags to give away to three lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers!

Would you like to win one of these fabulous lunch bags? Just leave a comment telling me what your favorite well-rounded lunch is that you’d pack!

Every reader has three methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, or three for up to a total of 3 entries!!!

1. Leave a comment sharing what lunch you’d pack in this sweet little lunch bag!

2. Subscribe to my feed via RSS or email and leave a separate comment letting me know you have done so. If you’re already a subscriber, simply leave a separate comment letting me know you’re already subscribed. Lovin’ my subscribers! You guys make this all possible.

3. Spread the word about this contest in some manner and come back and leave a link in a separate comment. If you have a blog, you can blog about it. But if you don’t have a blog, you’re not at a disadvantage. You could review and Stumble it. You could Twitter it. (Use hashtag #lunchbags, please.) You could post about it in a forum. Use your imagination!

It is important that you leave a separate comment for each type of entry because each comment is equal to one entry. Sorry to harp on this, but it really is that important to tally and select the winner easily, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me simplify the process!

Prize:
1 of 3 Mario Batali or Elle Lunch Bags (ARV $20-$30)

This giveaway ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sunday, December 7th. I’ll use Random.org to generate a number that corresponds with the winning comment number and post the winner on Monday, December 8th. Good luck!

While you’re in a contest entering mood, don’t forget to check out the Giveaway Gathering for a variety of contests being hosted on Deal Seeking Mom readers’ blogs!

I guess I’m still an old fashioned girl. I pack either peanut butter and jelly or ham and cheese on wheat bread. A piece of fruit, water bottle or green tea and a pretzel stick or piece of chocolate. Thanks for sharing a chance on winning these.

My favorite lunch to pack is a turkey sandwich, a piece of fruit and a small sweet. And with a lunch bag like this I would want to pack my lunch more often.

These are too cute! When I was working I liked to pack leftover chicken or turkey along with some crackers and a little cheese, finished off with an apple. I’m retired now, but I could use the bag for picnics!

Even without an office job I need to pack my lunch for out and about days… I’d probably pack my favorite salad…greens, dried cranberries, blue or feta cheese, candied almonds, and a spicy vinagarette. And water. MmmmMmmmm

Love the bags! Right now I use whatever leftover gift bag I can find! Currently it is a Victoria’s Secret pink bag! I always pack leftovers! After dinner, we automatically divide the leftovers into lunch size containers and freeze. Then I need only grab a container for a yummy lunch!

I don’t do sandwiches, but I pack protein everyday. Usually it’s leftovers from last night’s dinner. I always have fresh fruit.

    So FUN!!

My daughter is obsessed with purses, she even carries on while riding her bike, Id let her use it and I could borrow it sometimes!

I love to pack chicken salad, light on the mayo with carrots (chopped in blender). MMMM, protein and veggies. Bread or crackers work well.

    Love these bags! How cool?!

For lunch I like to do a variety of things, one of the easiest: Turkey on whole wheat with spicy mustard. Side of carrot sticks and string cheese. Also a bottle of water. I also bring snacks to work: different fruit each week.

    Thanks!
