Ladies Who Lunch Giveaway: Mario Batali or Elle Lunch Bag

December 3, 2008 by Tara Kuczykowski

Elle Christy Lunch BagIn my post the other day on seven easy ways to cut $1 or more out of your daily budget, I mentioned that packing your lunch on a daily basis is an excellent way to make huge impact on your budget. Brown-bagging it can get old and boring quickly though . . . until now.

Cosmoda sent me this adorable Elle Christy Lunch Bag, and it almost makes me wish I had an office job again just to be able to carry my lunch back and forth in it! I was surprised at how nice the quality is, and you’d totally never even guess it’s a lunch bag until you unzip it and see the insulated material inside. Both the interior and exterior wipe clean easily, and did I mention just how gosh darn cute it is?!?

Cosmoda wants to help you save money by packing your lunch and still look chic while doing it, so they’ve given me three adorable lunch bags to give away to three lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers!

Would you like to win one of these fabulous lunch bags? Just leave a comment telling me what your favorite well-rounded lunch is that you’d pack!

Every reader has three methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, or three for up to a total of 3 entries!!!

1. Leave a comment sharing what lunch you’d pack in this sweet little lunch bag!

2. Subscribe to my feed via RSS or email and leave a separate comment letting me know you have done so. If you’re already a subscriber, simply leave a separate comment letting me know you’re already subscribed. Lovin’ my subscribers! You guys make this all possible.

3. Spread the word about this contest in some manner and come back and leave a link in a separate comment. If you have a blog, you can blog about it. But if you don’t have a blog, you’re not at a disadvantage. You could review and Stumble it. You could Twitter it. (Use hashtag #lunchbags, please.) You could post about it in a forum. Use your imagination!

It is important that you leave a separate comment for each type of entry because each comment is equal to one entry. Sorry to harp on this, but it really is that important to tally and select the winner easily, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me simplify the process!

Prize:
1 of 3 Mario Batali or Elle Lunch Bags (ARV $20-$30)

This giveaway ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sunday, December 7th. I’ll use Random.org to generate a number that corresponds with the winning comment number and post the winner on Monday, December 8th. Good luck!

While you’re in a contest entering mood, don’t forget to check out the Giveaway Gathering for a variety of contests being hosted on Deal Seeking Mom readers’ blogs!

    Love these bags! How cool?!

For lunch I like to do a variety of things, one of the easiest: Turkey on whole wheat with spicy mustard. Side of carrot sticks and string cheese. Also a bottle of water. I also bring snacks to work: different fruit each week.

    Thanks!

My favorite easy lunch is a salad I can prepare in the morning between sending my son to school and doing some easy chores. I grew up in Europe, so usually my salad dressing is olive oil and lots of crumbled cheese – any type. Good aeasy and prety tasty.
I would love to have one of those pretty lunch bags. I can even color coordinate some of my clothes lol
    Thanks Polina

They are all cute. A frugal type lunch would be a wrap or sandwich on whole grain bread woth Boetje’s mustard, some tomato and pickles. Smoked turkey probably. Fresh fruit (whatever is in season) and cherry tomatoes. Or some Flat Earth chips.

I don’t have to pack lunches for myself anymore, and don’t think my husband would like it. However, my dd started college this fall, as a dietetics major, so this would be great for her!

I like to pack leftovers from diner the night before. My favorite would be pot roast with potatoes, carrots, celery and onions. With a couple of bottles of water with my crystal light energy mix.

I love the messenger style lunch bag! I would totally pack some delicious leftovers – my basically free lunch would travel in style!!! One of my favorite leftover meals: homemade chili mixed with some rice, then rolled in a tortilla with LOTS of cheddar cheese into a big tasty burrito! Mmmmmm…
