Ladies Who Lunch Giveaway: Mario Batali or Elle Lunch Bag

December 3, 2008 by Tara Kuczykowski

Elle Christy Lunch BagIn my post the other day on seven easy ways to cut $1 or more out of your daily budget, I mentioned that packing your lunch on a daily basis is an excellent way to make huge impact on your budget. Brown-bagging it can get old and boring quickly though . . . until now.

Cosmoda sent me this adorable Elle Christy Lunch Bag, and it almost makes me wish I had an office job again just to be able to carry my lunch back and forth in it! I was surprised at how nice the quality is, and you’d totally never even guess it’s a lunch bag until you unzip it and see the insulated material inside. Both the interior and exterior wipe clean easily, and did I mention just how gosh darn cute it is?!?

Cosmoda wants to help you save money by packing your lunch and still look chic while doing it, so they’ve given me three adorable lunch bags to give away to three lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers!

Would you like to win one of these fabulous lunch bags? Just leave a comment telling me what your favorite well-rounded lunch is that you’d pack!

Every reader has three methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, or three for up to a total of 3 entries!!!

1. Leave a comment sharing what lunch you’d pack in this sweet little lunch bag!

2. Subscribe to my feed via RSS or email and leave a separate comment letting me know you have done so. If you’re already a subscriber, simply leave a separate comment letting me know you’re already subscribed. Lovin’ my subscribers! You guys make this all possible.

3. Spread the word about this contest in some manner and come back and leave a link in a separate comment. If you have a blog, you can blog about it. But if you don’t have a blog, you’re not at a disadvantage. You could review and Stumble it. You could Twitter it. (Use hashtag #lunchbags, please.) You could post about it in a forum. Use your imagination!

It is important that you leave a separate comment for each type of entry because each comment is equal to one entry. Sorry to harp on this, but it really is that important to tally and select the winner easily, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me simplify the process!

Prize:
1 of 3 Mario Batali or Elle Lunch Bags (ARV $20-$30)

This giveaway ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sunday, December 7th. I’ll use Random.org to generate a number that corresponds with the winning comment number and post the winner on Monday, December 8th. Good luck!

While you’re in a contest entering mood, don’t forget to check out the Giveaway Gathering for a variety of contests being hosted on Deal Seeking Mom readers’ blogs!

I would pack a ham sandwich or a PB&J, an apple, and a Granola Bar. Thats a lunch I tend to pack alot. Those bags are so cute, i’d love to have one for my lunch at work every day.

I love the Mario Messenger Bag!!! How cute!

When dd & I go out – we always pack lunch, saves us $ and is a ton healthier! I usually pack us turkey wraps with fat free ranch dressing – a string cheese – a yogurt & a piece of fruit. Plus I have two Kleen Kanteens that we make sure to have our water in!

    Thanks!

Back in the days before kids when I did go to an office daily I did brown bag nearly every day. A green salad and a sandwich of one paper-thin slice of pastrami on thin sliced wheat was typical. Need I mention I weighed 20 lbs. less then?

wow, such a cute bag. I always have a salad and either leftovers or a frozen meal (healthy choice, smart ones, etc.) for lunch…I stock up when they go on sale & that way I have a good variety. thanks so much!

I bring my lunch just about every day. I am a single mom, but both my kids live away from home now. I pack either leftovers, or take hummus with crackers, or a sandwich if I have any bread or wraps laying around. Sometimes I make a salad, sometimes I make a veggie sandwich. And when I don’t have any thing to make I have cans of soup in the pantry or, heaven forbid, a frozen dinner that I keep at the office just in case. The office provides coffee, water and soda, so at least I don’t have to BUY or pack one.

It would probably leftovers…but ideally, a smoked turkey wrap with spinach, bacon, caramelized onions, and alouette’s spread; some hummus and pita chips; and a brownie. I’d munch on it all day.

I guess I’m still an old fashioned girl. I pack either peanut butter and jelly or ham and cheese on wheat bread. A piece of fruit, water bottle or green tea and a pretzel stick or piece of chocolate. Thanks for sharing a chance on winning these.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
