24-Hour Giveaway: Two Bottles of All Small & Mighty

September 16, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

ALL-96oz-Stainlifter

As you can imagine, laundry is a never-ending chore around here with five active kids. all® Small & Mighty® laundry detergent is one of my preferred brands, and I love the convenience the new 96-load bottle. Of course it doesn’t last anywhere close to six months around here, but I appreciate the ease of dispensing it and its stain-fighting capabilities!

Two Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a coupon for a free bottle of all® Small & Mighty® 3x Concentrate (up to $6.50)! These would be great to hold onto until the next BOGO sale at CVS so that you can get TWO free bottles of detergent!

To enter, leave me a comment with your best money-saving laundry tip.

Here’s a little tip from me to you — I can generally find a better price on the smaller bottles of All Small & Mighty, so I save my larger 96-load bottle and refill it with them!

+++++++++++++++

Every reader has four methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, three, or four for up to a total of 4 entries!!!

Methods of entry:

1. Leave a comment. What’s your best money-saving laundry tip? How do you make your detergent last longer or find deals on your favorite detergent for less?

2. Add Deal Seeking Mom to your blogroll or add my badge to your sidebar. Make sure to come back and leave the link to your site in a separate comment!

3. Join the new Deal Seeking Mom Forums to chat about your great finds, special coupon codes, and chances to win exclusive giveaways. Leave a separate comment letting me know you’ve joined or that you’re already a registered user!

Prize:
(2) Coupon for a FREE bottle of all® Small & Mighty® 3x concentrate (up to $6.50)

This giveaway ends at noon EST on Thursday, 9/17. I’ll use Random.org to select the winning comment. Winner will be notified by email on and listed on my Giveaway Winners page. Good luck!

Ever since they have made the detergents more concentrated I make sure to find the appropriate line on the lid and draw a big thick black line so that everyone in the family knows the right amount to use easily. This saves greatly on the kiddo’s just filling the cap up all the way without paying attention to the hard to see fill line.

To save on detergent I like combining e-coupons with paper coupons at my safeway or kroger stores.

I buy detergent on sale combining coupons and stock up. I use warm water to wash clothes once in three turns as it REALLY gets the grime out(unlike cold water). Also, I alternate between using full and half load of detergent according to how dirty the clothes are. I use very less fabric softener. Above all I like drying my clothes under the Sun. Thats the best disinfectant. So I skip the dryer as and when I can!

After sorting laundry by color, I pull out the clothes that are not dirty or soiled (usually not my son’s clothes) and put them on a quick wash with cold water. Less water, less energy, less soap.

i wash everything in cold water, use vinegar instead of bleach and no fabric softener…plus i extend my detergent by adding borax!

I wash in cold water and only run full loads. I only use all Small & Mighty, so I clip all the coupons I can find for it and stock up when it’s on sale.

I always use cold water and make sure that I have a full load before doing laundry (not a problem with two babies under the age of 2 in the house :)). I use coupons and combine them with a sale. Also, I use less detergent than recommended…like using 3/4 a cap instead of a full cap…the clothes still get clean but it stretches the bottle out.

I use the expensive powder laundry detergent (Tide, Gain, Cheer) and mix it with the bucket of Costco laundry detergent. The Costco stuff by itself doesn’t work too great but when I add one box of the other to it – it works GREAT!
