As you can imagine, laundry is a never-ending chore around here with five active kids. all® Small & Mighty® laundry detergent is one of my preferred brands, and I love the convenience the new 96-load bottle. Of course it doesn’t last anywhere close to six months around here, but I appreciate the ease of dispensing it and its stain-fighting capabilities!
Two Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a coupon for a free bottle of all® Small & Mighty® 3x Concentrate (up to $6.50)! These would be great to hold onto until the next BOGO sale at CVS so that you can get TWO free bottles of detergent!
To enter, leave me a comment with your best money-saving laundry tip.
Here’s a little tip from me to you — I can generally find a better price on the smaller bottles of All Small & Mighty, so I save my larger 96-load bottle and refill it with them!

It’s just my husband and I so don’t feel like I do a ton of laundry but HATE paying full price for the detergent.. So I try to stock up when there are really good sales:)
Gabe
I make my own. It is suprisingly cheap!

Jeans tend to take more time in the dryer, so I finally started taking them out even if they were not all the way dry and just let them air-dry (either in the house on rainy days, or outside if it is nice. )

I use cold water for everything but sheets and towels. I find that everything cleans up just as well.

I cut my dryer sheets in half and only use 1 half per load – a box lasts me twice as long! (My husband just calls me cheap b/c of this….)

I save laundry money by only washing full loads; I feel like I’m wasting less energy/water this way. Thanks!

I save money by buying my detergent in bulk at Costco. I also typically buy the store brand, which I’ve discovered cleans just as well as others. Thanks!

I stock up on laundry detergent, fabric softener, and stain cleaners when they’re on sale. I just got a bunch of Tide Stain Release for $.79 at Target two weeks ago!

I wash full loads in cold water and buy whatever detergent there is on sale and have coupons for. I use the fabric softener with water for it to last longer and only use the dryer sheets when I really need the clothes to smell extra nice :)

I always use a little under what the line in the cap says because I found out the more you use actually makes your clothes dirtier.

When I am washing clothes i try to make sure that I have enough time to start a load, dry it, fold it and put it away. By having the alotted time I never forget I left a load in the washer and have to re-wash the now stinky load. Saves on detergent and the water bill.

I joined the forum and love your great website. I like ALL detergent and use it all the time. My favorite way to save money on laundry is always wash full loads, use cold water, cut fabric sheets in half, and make my coupons count when buying detergent! Example: This week I got ALL 3x for only $1.84 a bottle it regularly sells for $5.69. I used 2 -$1.00 off coupons on a BOGO ad at Publix . LOVE that cheap detergent!!

I reuse dryer sheets at least 3 or 4 times and they still work like a charm. No need to grab new one each time. I also by those little sheets that absorb dyes so you can do a warm water wash of colors and whites together to save doing 2 separate loads. Those sheets work even on new clothes being washed for 1st time.
